WorldMEN 2025: 19th International Workshop on Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia and other Rare Endocrine Tumors
Endocrine-Related Cancer is excited to announce its new special collection in collaboration with WorldMEN 2025 - 19th International Workshop on Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia and other Rare Endocrine Tumors (16-17 June 2025, São Paulo, Brazil). The Collection Editors invite submissions of original research, mini review and review articles from speakers and delegates attending the workshop, along with complementary work from outside the meeting.
The first Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia (MEN) meeting took place in Canada in 1984. At that time, the aim of the meeting was to engage the scientific community, including the world experts in MEN, to collaborate in the discovery of the genes involved in MEN syndromes. This effort led to the discovery of the RET and MEN1 genes. Since then, the focus of the meeting has broadened to cover other neuroendocrine tumors that are sporadic or associated with hereditary syndromes.
The 2025 meeting will be held in São Paulo, Brazil, with an exceptional programme exploring the latest research on pituitary, adrenal, parathyroid, thyroid, and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors, from basic science to the latest advances in diagnosis and treatment.
As a multidisciplinary meeting, the workshop will involve basic scientists, geneticists, endocrinologists, oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, gastroenterologists, radiologists, and nuclear medicine physicians with the goal to update current knowledge, discuss ongoing challenges, and define new diagnostic and treatment requirements.
In this special collection, we hope to highlight the important topics discussed in the meeting.
For more information and to submit your proposal, please email erc@bioscientifica.com. Please note, the Editors will consider proposals from researchers who did not attend the event but who work in this important field.
